Brands GP

Post by macaw »

As a returnee, would like to thank Steven & your team for all your help over the weekend. It is very much appreciated. Your suggestion to solve my starter issue worked a treat. Mono is by far the most friendly club to race with, your enthusiastic efforts to accommodate & help is clearly appreciated by every one I spoke to. Malcolm #78

As someone who suffered a fire extinguisher going off in the assembly paddock just before my first race at Brands yesterday thereby ending my days racing, so I thought, can I just endorse the words on this thread regarding Steve Connor. Steve very kindly sent one of his helpers with one of my party to his house to retrieve a similar fire extinguisher bottle which allowed me to compete in the second race. Steve's overall organisation of the day, including the very tricky garage allocation and parking arrangements allowed all of us in the the last garages to be comfortably accommodated, motorhomes included.

My brother in law, new to Mono said to me after the race as we enjoyed a drink and a sausage after a very busy day, how impressed he was with Steve and his organisational capabilities. I can only endorse those comments and thank Steve personally for assisting me when all looked doomed. Many thanks Steve to both you and Burt for you kind help and assistance.

Thanks to both of your for the kind comments.. glad we could help. I thought I might have upset Malcolm as I had to be a bit 'forthright' about his road car being where we needed to bring a truck in during the morning and suggested he park it in the garage, but it all worked out for the best.
