Lets have a vote, which Monoposto driver (past or present) would make the best new Stig ?
I'm voting for Peter Bragg. It might have been Jim Blockley but who wants a grumpy stig in slippers.

Re: The Stig
It needs to be somebody who we don't see directly but of whom we have evidence of existence. A former race winner would be good, somebody whose testing role keeps him up to date. And somebody whose dad's got the tee shirt.
Lee Bennett.
Also, unlike the recently retired Ben Collins, I don't believe Lee has ever chucked it off the circuit on the out lap.
PS Might have suggested some New Zealander who used to race with us whose name currently escapes me but the Stig is supposed to keep quiet at all times and he was a bit gobby.
PPS Wasn't Mr Collins unlucky to be outed by investigative journalism in the Murdoch owned Sunday Times when his autobiography was just about to be published by the Murdoch owned Harper Collins?

Re: The Stig
Nothing to do with the Stig, but I did think "Who the foxtrot uniform # * is Vincent Fox",however after reading Phil/Pies/Dallara and dubious reference to Norfolk and handbrakes I began to see the light.I thought at first the logo was an osterich, but I now realize that there is only one man who could pluck a kiwi and force its head in the sand, the very same man who came out of the closet in garage 7 at Spa after a good nights (albeit toilet break interrupted) sleep!
