Just to let you all know that Alan Putt died at the weekend after a long battle with cancer.

Please may I add my condolences to his family and friends.
Sadly I never met Alan but he was very kind in supplying old photos and memories for Startline, and his input to the historic racing movement was simply immeasurable.
A sad loss.
