Pressure sensor and 1/8 NTP thread

Post by samier »

I have bought a pressure sensor, but the thread is 1/8 NTP, that crappy racetech combo gauge I took off had a thread size which is different, I am not sure what it is. Maybe a M10x1.

I have a braided pressure line that runs from the engine to the dash area, which matches the thread on the gauge. I am struggling to find a braided line with a 1/8NTP fitting...

Any ideas?

Make a custom hose - only takes a few minutes and a few quid. Or, get an adaptor (or get one made) to match the dissimilar threads...

How neat, light, expensive, complicated and time consuming do you want the solution to be?

easy as poss

I think the thread is 1/8BSP not m10x1, if I can find a 1/8BSP male to 1/8NTP female adapter that would be an easy way out.

Why cant they just have one standard instead of hundreds!!
