Eligibility Question

Re: Eligibility Question
Well sadly my latent plan to enter some Mono race in what I thought was a Mono compliant front engined single seater has come to nothing. I asked about eligibility for a Clubmans type open wheeler last year but never had a written reply; I eventually caught up with the Mono eligibility Scrutineer at Donington earlier this year and had a conversation about it, and it seems that my car falls foul of regulations requiring symmetry of the roll hoop about the centre line.
That's the way it is, unfortunately. I never did get an answer about why Clubmans cars had been able to race in Mono before, or why they are currently allowed to race in the Derek Bell single seater series if they don't comply with these regs! My car is more compliant as a single seater than any of the Clubmans cars racing in Derek Bell but such is life.
I was looking forward to being able to do a mix of Mono and Clubmans races but I will now just have to stick to Clubmans. I understand but it's a shame.
