The following on track limits is available from MSV:
http://www.cadwellpark.co.uk/pdf/2014/track_limits.pdf
Second last paragraph system already installed at Brands Hatch is interesting regard the level of monitoring currently in use.
I'll also quote from elsewhere on their website:
"The open pit lane format gives you the opportunity to go on and off circuit as much as you please throughout the day, providing maximum track time and maximum value."
Made me smile......

Re: Track Limits
Regulation Q14.4.2 in the MSA Yearbook 2014 begins:
‘Drivers must use the track at all times and may not leave the track without a justifiable reason’
My 'justifiable reason' is "lack of talent".... do you think that counts?

Re: Track Limits
Brands (and a few other MSV circuits) have had the pressure pads for most of 2014.
However, if you are anything like me, lack of talent takes you out beyond the sensors, and then it's a case of bribing the observers; everyone is corruptible for the right price (read: beer or bacon sarnies usually).

Re: Track Limits
In Champion of Oulton last year we did a track walk and thought it would be funny to jump on the sensors and show V signs to the cameras....... Was very funny at the time till we got a bollocking in the drivers briefing when they pulled out the print offs of the images!!!!
