Formula Ford Festival 26th & 27th October

Post by triple j motorsport »

No clash this year

Stand alone FFZetec races for Standard FFZetecs

You must run on Avon FFZetec tyres no wings and standard exhaust with cast iron manifold.

Weight limit as per mono1800 535kg including driver.

Minimum Qualifying and 2 races.

Club event not full of crash or win youngsters

I can help you find any standard parts needed ie manifolds and exhausts

Are you not running standard tyres already Pete?? As far as I know Ashley always did. BMTR are your best bet for a new set.

No idea. Needed a new set of slicks after brands, went to avon truck, got a set of slicks. No idea if they are Avon FFZetec tyres.

If they were replaced by the AVON guys they'll more than likely be ok.

Check the model number on the tyre side wall it should read: Front 8810 Rear 8811.

There should also be little white barcodes with each tyres serial number on it. At the festival you'll only be able to use two sets of slicks during the weekend. At signing on they will give you a form to fill in with these numbers, you'll put the serial numbers on the form and submit it at scrutineering.

For more information on FF Zetec tyres check out our Technical Resource page at http://www.formulafordzetec.co.uk/formu ... ec_023.htm

Took me ages to find the link. Once I found it it seemed obvious.
