Thanks to everyone for all the help and answers on here to date, my FVJ is very near its completion with only the decals to go on next week.

I'm now looking forward to a test day some time in June and hopefully a race later in the year!

Looks stunning, although Russ Giles might find the paint scheme annoying!!!

If it goes as well as it looks, you'll have a great time. For such a 'simple' machine they are very capable. And everything you learn in it is directly transferrable to every other race car too.

In short: you'll love it! Well done on the rebuild.

However, I think Russ has got the right colour red wheras mine is just what I could mix from stuff on thr shelf haha!

Maybe after the decals are put on, it should make a difference.

Yeah, Russ is the type!

It looks great, and when Russ next wins a race you can claim it was you! The flipside is that if he retires for some embarrassing reason, you'll have to convince people it WASN'T you!
