Am presently going through my onboard camera footage, as I am required to send it to the supplier of my camera equipment (http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/), and am removing the superfluous bits like green flag laps or sitting in the assembly area.

As such, over the last few days (weeks) I've been watching an awful lot of footage, and it struck me how well behaved everyone is on track. Sure, there are occasionally disagreements, especially in qualifying when some people are building up to their hot lap, whilst others are finding space, nursing problems or are trying to finish the lap of their lives, but other than that it's been pretty damn good. Well done all!

And finally, apologies to Sara for Silverstone's final race. I'd promised to be nice to her when we passed her, but I think Jeremy and I might have been a bit... forceful. But we didn't hit you!!!!!!!!

Did you finish the season with the Chase cam you had from your Reynard days? I seem to remember you having a Contour cam as well, is that the one that failed early this year?

Correct. Using a Chasecam recorder with a DogCam bullet camera, all powered by AA batteries. The very same unit that I've used since 2008. The ContourHD camera wasn't able to withstand the vibrations of being mounted rigidly to a car, and two were broken in trying - both returned to DogCam under warranty. I want to avoid sticking the camera out on a stalk, as I've found that the picture isn't very clear by doing so, hence the little rollbar mount I made one weekend.

The Contour cameras didn't last a single session did they?

I have some footage from it. Dad doing my belts up in a garage at Snetterton. Starting the car. Putting it in first. Pulling out of the garage.... And then nothing.

It was a bit like Schumacher and Hakkinen passing Zonta at Spa, except the lead didn't change.
