Engine Capacity vs. Literacy

Has anyone else noticed that the 1000s are a bit quiet and the 2000s tend towards verbosity? This theory is futher supported in that the ideal is in the middle with the best writers generally coming from the 1600 and 1800 classes. Patrick is sound, as of course is Toni Dallara, though you have worry about him now he's moved away from the elite class. In final confirmation, we all eagerly anticipate the next "Parkinson Line".

I do not understand why there are any other mono classes other than 2000. Those motorbike screamers all look dangerous (a point proven many times by GF), Mono 1600-1800 is for gentlemen lost on the way to the retirement home and mono classic? Classic is just another way of saying past it. OK, I understand why Jim B would race in this, he think Barbara Windsor is a 'classic' but everyone else knows that while Kiera Knightly might be alright this year, a better model is just around the corner.
