Anyone in or near Somerset ?

Hello all
My father inlaw has bought an old classic mini gearbox on eBay and I'm wondering if anyone is close , can collect it and bring it to a race meeting this year?
Fuel and time costs will be reimbursed .

Not before testing @ donnington, but the following Monday I'll be in Street, just south of Bristol so I could pick it up then if you haven't got it by then.

guys just gone away for two weeks so ill post in here when he is back and hopefully it might work out if not he will have to take a long drive to somerset

Ewen I have an original mini engine & gearbox sitting in my garage was going to put it on ebay at some point....Believe it's an 850 version, the car was running fine but mot failure due to rust 25 years ago been in my garage since....
If you interested you could get it when your at Brands 45 mins away. Save Pete driving around for you give me a few £££ and get some of the crap out of my garage...you don't want any Lotus Elise gold rims do you or an original 1300cc x flow MkII Escort Engine & Gearbox. Box is off a 1600Sport which is the GT box I am told.

Not good for me john unless its a mk1 with magic wand type box.
As for other stuff no not really.
Jon Bryant the photographer has an Elise he's in my face book friends list he might buy the wheels.
How's the rebuild coming along

will be out at Brands GP will be a rushed job still got bodywork to do (might be tank tape) no rear corners on the car and a full set up to do.....

High probability on Thursday coming. Ill confirm on Monday but looks like im down that way then.
