My First Race

Post by petebee »

With all the little issues sorted, it is time to head to Brands for my first race.

The trailer is packed, thanks to everyone who suggested items to weigh it down with. After putting in pretty much everything that was suggested, the poor trailer was packed to the gunnel's and rather overweight so ive opted for a more refined approach and got a bigger tow car with a large boot.

Everything is set, the car feels like a glove (albeit a cold, wet and uncomfortable one), the stickers are on and here we come.

Look out car car 55, if i'm in your mirrors your lapping me backwards. :)

See you all there, looking forward to the BBQ.
#58 - Annoying the back of the 1600 grid.

I would like to give a massive thank you to everyone who helped and gave support at Brands over the weekend. With some many names and faces I cant remember you all but I felt one of the family very quickly. There was a lot to learn and my head is still spinning. I think my biggest lesson was to read the setup sheet correctly.

Huge thanks to Joe and Eddie for the battles I had at the back of the field. I look forward to having more of the same at Cadwell.

:D :D :D
