I usually find a plastic bag over the head and some duct tape stops them moaning (that's any one, not just women I'm not sexist)- (I saw it in a film once) I wouldn't do that- she's a great cook!-

Why, do Mp's stand out side chip shops, scaring old people? (lol)

you mean the second income bit!

No worse, I work for the inland revenue (not really). I tax normal people to pay for hoildays, houses, expensive suits, chauffeurs, wine and meals for mp's thier friend's,neighbours, distant relatives and the like - oh and to build the odd multi million pound building for foreign workers for all the jobs we dont have.

but we do come down hard on benefit thieves! (Errr!)

think i'd have to start a new political party for my views - don't get me started.

Well I do work for the inland revenue and the government in a way, I pay tax.

I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE FUN AT MALLORY THIS WEEKEND

Speaking as an ex-Monoposto wife - wife of an ex Monoposto driver that is, not ex-wife of a Monoposto driver I can honestly say I had no real idea how much it was all costing because I never asked!
I have never been very interested in home improvements and that sort of stuff but had I heard the words "Sorry dear can't afford to go on holiday, I've spent too much on racing" I would certainly have kicked off - big time. Fortunately this never occured.

Being an ex Mono wife I do have to say that I miss my weekends away to Anglesey etc.

I took the tactic years ago of being the one with the responsibility for bill paying and keeping an eye on the finances.

It's worked reasonably well, although isn't watertight. Andrew did once come home with a car that I wasn't expecting and camera lenses seem to change evey other month.
