Re: Baking Grand Prix

I was about to lambast the Startline editors as being complete idiots for being unable to correctly transpose even a simple emailed table of results, when I checked the email I had sent them and discovered it's my mistake. So that's obviously a completely understandable error which anyone could have made.

The correct score for the Eclairs is Presentation 8, Taste Texture 9, Total 17. I have the original hand-written score sheet as well to prove it...

The Eclairs were absolutely delicious...

Regards

Simon Davey

You seemed to be going well after your difficult start, when did your gearbox problems start?

2nd broke leaving the assembly area. 1st broke at the actual race start. Jammed in 4th for last half of last lap.

The hairpin in 3rd is not enjoyable, and cost me about a second per lap (or possibly slightly more).

Many many thanks to those that, yet again, had to take avoiding action at the start. I'll try never to do that again...

I find this thread drift unacceptable. Talking about car racing of all things on a cake forum. Whatever next.

Its was merely a reference to Tristans' 'cream crackered' gearbox.......................

I certainly had egg on my face afterwards. But not flour, fortunately.
