I'm picking up the vibe that my helmet which was legal in 2009 will not be suitable in 2010.
The regs regarding the flame proofing of the lining have changed, can anyone confirm or deny?
Does anyone have the 2009 Blue Book to compare with the 2010 helmet regs to see if the approved list has changed?

Helmets for 2010
Re: Helmets for 2010

My understanding from comparing the 2009 and 2010 Blue Books is that BS 6658 Type A/FR are still eligible, but BS 6658 Type A, ie non fire resistant, are not.
The 2010 wording in the Blue Book pdf MSA have issued is:
10.3.1. Standards. Helmets bearing one of the under
mentioned ‘standards’ may be approved by the MSA
subject to other criteria being met.
(a) NTERNATIONAL (sic) EVENTS & ALL MSA EVENTS.
FIA 8860-2004.
SNELL SA2005.
SNELL SA2000*.
SFI Foundation 31.1A, 31.2A.
BS 6658 Type A/FR.
