Sarah's boyfreind Chris (Dittman)

Many of you know Sarah's fiancee Chris, he has recently been struggling to get some sort of budget together to run in Ginetta G50. He recently raced at Thruxton and proved quick but did not get the results he deserved. This weekend he is at Donnongton and in his first race today started 4th and finis...

Re: Should we terminate Mono Free

I do agree with you Ewan it would be ideal if we all had equal cars and equal power as in many series like formula renault etc, etc, but this is not what Mono is all about, we have a large diversity of cars and engines. Where I am coming from is the continuation of Mono financially in its present for...

Should we terminate Mono Free

I have of course only recent experience of mono 1000 and 1400,but talking to various members of this class it seems that by the rule change that we invoke in 2010(i.e. standard engines only) we are going to exclude quite a few cars and competitors who are currently running with us on a regular and o...

Re: Calender for races this year???

Hi Karl, Welcome to Mono, there are many of us that are far from IT competent, there are a few computer buffs but they are in the minority, most of us are wandering around in cyberspace pressing all the wrong buttons, but I think you will find we are generally a freindly helpfull bunch, most have a sen...

Re: Formula Vee to run in Mono 1600

So where are we now? Does the fact that Formula Vee,s have run in Mono 1600 in 1999 set the precedent for their elegibility,it would seem the rules have not changed since then so theoretically they could enter. It would be a good idea to get the view of someone who "Hasbeen" involved with the club f...

Formula Vee to run in Mono 1600

I was talking in the paddock at Snetterton to the driver of a Formula Vee ,who said it was a pity that the car could not be run in Mono, I immediately thought "why not".There are apparently 100 Formula Vee,s out there.I cant see any reason why they should not run in Mono 1600,where we already accept...

Re: GRID SIZES

I wonder,if like me readers of the Forum are not sure when they read a post exactly who the author is,I think it would be a good idea if under "Author" we had displayed the persons actual name and if they race with us, their number and category,we could leave out when they joined (who cares).Just th...

I will be bring the 2008 club and championship trophies left over from the AGM with me to snetterton.
