Re: Trailer box conversion
Second hand trailers been their done that. Twice got home from snett very late only to find next morning 3 wheels on my wagon :( Trailers are worse than cars they never get serviced, as Dermott says nothing works and its all rusty and the wheels fall off. The wonderful boys in blue and traffic manag...

Re: Specials in Mono
thanks for the reminder Simon
I wil be sending my paddock form next week with my membership.
Reason for delay was whether to purchase a 40ft artic with 4 car awning so i can become more professional.
But in reflection i will stick with motorhome and trailer plus wife as mechanic.

Re: Specials in Mono
Thankyou Simon for you informed comments
My suggestion was a bit tongue in cheek.
I agree we do not need any draconion official, just thought msv might provide an official who would be able to tell competitors when they arrive, where to park.

Re: Specials in Mono
I thought Geoff fern tried it with a very lightwieght special built by Force but it did not work. Ref Paddock, MSV should appiont a paddock hitler as the do in BSB. Gareth runs the BSB paddock like a military operation, and it really works, no private cars allowed in paddock unles its a working vech...

Re: Silverstone GP
I would think the opposite excessive use of mirrors is a problem. when racing for a position the driver in front seems to spend more time looking the mirror andtrying to block the challenging driver, which often results in both going slower and allowing slower competitors to catch. Also how many time...

Re: Lap records
Andrew I see that the old lap records are listed in the results drop down under lap records. On reflection it would be quite difficult to list the old lap records in cars that now running in classic. For instance all Amanda Whitakkers lap records where set in a FVL that is eligible for Classic. But ...

Re: Silverstone GP/Britcar Races
Do i not remember i big discussion about the merits of led rain lights when the club made them compulsory. I must disagree with Tristan a working rain light is far more effective than a non working one. I followed one for all of the first race at silverstone and found very difficult to judge where t...
