I didn't intend to create a scare story.

I just wondered whether anyone had obtained any formal clarification from the MSA as the club that I race with (or rather the scrutineers that work at their events) are absolutely determined to throw a dozen cats among the pigeons.

Well.. the club with which I race - or rather their safety scrutineering zealots - are intending to apply the letter of the law - or, at least, their take on it!

Having just read the MSA newsletter I am now scratching my head as to how to solve the problem for my lower front wishbones. The rear pivot point is just below my knees and there is no way I can see I can add anti intrusion bars to the wishbones as they will foul the pull rod suspension. Any ideas ...

Like many of your cars, I suspect, my Speads has inboard springs and dampers and - being tall - my knees are more or less jammed up against them, so arranging some form of shielding would be pretty difficu...
