I found a towel in the grass behind my car at Croft, up against the runway. I've washed it, but does it belong to anybody? It's rather better than most I own, I didn't realise towels were supposed to be soft.
Let me know and I'll bring it to Snet.

I am pretty sure it belongs to Bill Janson, he threw it in when his steering rack broke after the first session,in fact if you searched the paddock, throughout the season, I think you would find enough towels to start a small hotel !

P.S if its a red one it belongs to the flag marshall, I saw him wave it at the end of the last race !

Re: Found at Croft
Bill Jansen almost got a red flag before he got in his car.
He arrived on the Friday and got the car off the trailer etc before starting to erect his tent on the piece of grass behind him.
I'm not sure he believed me initially when I told him he was putting it up in the middle of a runway.
A good job he moved as there were a couple of light planes used the said runway over the weekend.
You can imagine the conversation from the pilot trying to land and seeing a tent.
