F3Airbox vacuum tester

If it is intended to purchase an airbox tester,is this not a bit premature?

Myself and one other member are the only users of F3 engines. I do not intended to use the engine on a long term basis.
Is it cost effective to spend money for currently one long term competitor.
These engine will always be very thin on the ground.
As there is always an emphasis on costs and keeping the bank balance increasing surely it would better to wait to see if there is a real need.
If some one turns up who suddenly quicker or the numbers grow.

Has there been any investigation into cost of tester.
