Lap Timers

Does anyone have experience of in car lap timers? are they worth it? how accurate are they? what is out there and how much?

I once used the Harry's lap timer app on my iPhone and found it to be amazing and also quite accurate. Only problem was having my iPhone in my pocket :) I did strap it to the steering wheel which I then found distracting so pro's and con's with this one really.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for that, how did it work? was it connecting to a sensor on the pit wall or using the phones GPS?

It just works off the GPS so no sensors needed.
