How does the average Dallara satisfy the requirement for having engine breathers exiting into an oil catch tank with an easily visible level? Most I have looked at, including my own, simply seem to breath to atmosphere through a pipe hanging over the back of the gearbox.
Must confess I haven't completely figured out the oil system on my car in that, having routed the scavenge side of the oil pump into the oil tank, there is then a short link forward to where the pipe disappears back into the casing immediately behind the clutch area and then reappears as the aforementioned hose breathing to atmosphere.
Or is this something else to add to the fix-it list? Bit puzzled on this one since at least one professionaly run MSV car has a similar arrangement.

Re: Oil Catch Tanks
The catch tank is within the bellhousing and there is a spy glass on the side to check the level.
