MonoZtec - Gentlemans agreement to use Standard Avons

We are trying to get a gentlemans agreement to use the correct Avon tyres in MonoZtec to save costs especially as most drivers with standard FFZetecs have the correct Avons Slicks & Wets.

Is everyone in favour?

James I think Simon was trying to allow drivers who raced in the BRSCC championship the ability to race on Dunlops to save them having to buy both tyres.

Everyone seems to be in agreement, not heard anyone disagreeing....until they turn up on the grid with F1 rubber

Sorry to throw the cat amongst the pigeons but my father and I run a different size and we are set up for them so we can't agree I'm afraid .
If we appear this year it won't be on zetec rubber

You'll both be in Mono1800 though unless you remove your wings and non standard manifold and exhaust systems

Get a standard manifold and cat and play at the festival too

Still means buying different tyres, wheels and then setting up car again.
Might do one day but its not what it used to be the old ff festival
