Brands Hatch News - Schomosport cleans trailer

Team Schomosport announce that in preparation for the forthcoming Brands Hatch GP round of the Monoposto Classic 2000 Championship they have cleaned their trailer (aka the Red Shed). Significant effort expended over the weekend has resulted in the removal of several grammes of moss and other assorted lichens from the trailer bodywork. The aerodynamic gains are expected to be simialr to cutting holes in the floor of the current Red Bull F1 variant and should result in a reduction in the journey time to the Kent circuit of several seconds. It is hoped this will prove advantageous in securing a better position within the paddock and hence a quicker start into scrutineering.

Team Schomosport deny suggestions that they are endeavouring to steal an advantage in the race itself by inserting a non-return mechanism in the throttle cable mechanism, a modification recommended by a number of commentators and believed to be to do with the driver's tendency to lift and or brake prior to every corner.
