Any chance of fixing the forum?

Post by tristancliffe »

You might have noticed that the forum is slow, times out, and forgets where it's up to - particularly with regard to logins (cookies) and posting... Do we really need to have a dozen attempts at checking the forum, or 5 new threads when only one was intended?

I'm sure one of the IT Experts could fix it in their sleep, so any chance someone could spend 5 minutes having a go?

Hopefully I'll only post this once, but if you see a dozen parallel versions then sorry!!

See you all at Croft. Too hard to chat/discuss/moan on the forums at the moment, hence the quietness I suppose.

It has been a bit slow for us broadband users also. I think they will
be changing over from dial up to broadband in the Norfolk area
in about 2012. So hang on won't be long :-)

Blimey, two independent Norfolk jokes from Mono guys in one afternoon :D

It's actually working quickly right now. But wasn't a couple of hours ago, or when I was at work (!), and I suspect it'll be slow again tomorrow.

Are broadbands like broadbeans??
