Croft - now including an additional non championship race

Post by Paperman »

Rounds 9 and 10 of the Track and Race Cars Magazine Mono Championship will be held at Croft on 26th and 27th September. Entry fee will be the normal £275. Regulations will be downloadable from the Forms section of the main Monoposto site in the normal way.

In addition to the Championship double header there will be a single non championship race for all classes of Monoposto cars at Croft. The qualifying session for this race will be held on the Saturday, before either Championship qualifying session. The race itself will be held on Sunday, after both Championship races. This will enable competitors to have useful track time before the Championship rounds, and hopefully to then enjoy an extra race with no Championship pressure. The entry fee for the non-championship race is only £100, so if you chose to do all three races the entry fee averages out at £125 per race.

The meeting is organised by Darlington & District Motor Club. However for everyone's convenience I will manage the entries for both the Championship races and non-championship race, using a single Entry Form, so please return your entry forms and entry fees to me - before the Closing Date of 12th September.

For those who have not yet been to Croft: it's a very varied and enjoyable circuit which includes one of the fastest "deep breath" corners in the country - Barcroft.
