Re: anderson socket size-50amps or 175amps
I have moved over to the larger sockets the smaller ones break much easier. I got feed up with replacing them when pulled at an angle when being unplugged by mechanics (ie my dad, wife or mate) or stood on. The cases on the larger one tend to take more abuse plus the handle is much better.

Re: How best to tie down a single seater??
over top of the tyre is best i think legally you need a side loop too that goes in front of the wheel, so i was told!
you should have 50kg weight on the hook with a front tyres rack my car goes on forward but over the centre of the trailer,

Re: 1800/1600/1000 Results ?
Yes Julian did jump the start by miles I was supprised he didn't get a 10 second penalty too but he drove very well and I couldn't get passed him. He didn't give me any room at Paddock and we banged wheels but I defended very hard against him in the festival final and closed him down so fair does......

Spa Ferry and Hotels
Has anyone got any tips re ferries and hotels. Ferry seems to be cheap enough but hotels/B&Bs/Guest houses are silly money! Can't really ask my father to camp and the other half isn't exactly keen!! Re: Steering wheel question?
You are correct on every point!!
They are a pain in the a*** too when pushing the car around the pits etc
If you are running a dash and logger why not fit addition gear change and warning leds? I did this if the warning led comes on you'll manage to see the screen ok!!
