Re: to those who use trailers

Oh - a few legalities... -Towbars now have to be euro approved so "just sticking one on your car" may not be entirely legal. -7500kg trucks "Not for hire or reward" can now do 70mph on the road motorways (its an ECU mod for about £50) -Only people with licenses from before 1997 have entitlement to t...

Re: to those who use trailers

Wingnut Racing Solution: One second hand large bodied Luton ramps to go over the wheel arches. Work bench at the far end with tyre rack. Awning and generator fit under the car, wheels and tool boxes fit under the internal ramps. Took about a weeks worth of labour to put together and gives both stora...

Awesome Alternative Awards Ceremony Photos

Hey All, This is the link to the alternative photos from the Awards Ceremony. Andrew Cliffe has very kindly posted my misuse of his expensive camera but due to the presence of Ewen's "heritage" has not made it hugely obvious. http://www.norwichphoto.com/photostore/gallery.php?mode=gallery&id=463&pag...

Re: Mounting for a GoPro Camera

Ive put them on my car, Marc F's car Dax W's car and Ewens borrowed dream machine. Never had one fall off. Two methods, standard sticky mount with a rivet through it to a repair washer the other side or as I have the last couple of cars one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Metal-CNC-Flat-Surface-...

Stickers & graphics for racing cars / trailers

Just a reminder on last year - Simon Prior at Tribal signs has been doing my stickers again. Good price, good service, tends to ring and confirm when I'm being remiss and sends email proofs to make sure we have the same plan. Always great quality vinyl. Contact details: - Simon - 01884 824084 - simo...

Re: big list of things i've tripped over or fallen on my toe

Dermot - this Zebec 220bhp engine - do you still have it? Whats with it - might be interested in using to upgrade for the 2.0 engine in my Westfield.

What does it come with? Is it a red top or a black top?

Really good Vinyl Sticker service

Just a note really to all - I've been using a guy called Simon Prior at Tribal Signs this season and the service is great. Simon responds quickly, always sends a proof (this way I get what I wanted) and actually seems to understand what I want. For anyone that wants vinyl names, numbers, banners, st...

Spa Trailer Transport

I wondered if anyone is going out to Spa and might have the capability to tow my Brian James trailer with a Jedi and a set of wheels in it. I'm happy to make up for additional ferry charges and fuel. Alternatively if anyone has a truck going with space and could fit it in again I would be happy to c...

Re: Selling a car overseas

Write a recipt. On the receipt state the vehicle is sold EXW (Incoterms) and that all duties are payable by the buyer.

Add sold as seen :-)

Ensure your funds have cleared by 2 weeks minimum, ves any fake cheques from bouncing..

Re: Silverstone race time

My advice, buy a scanner. I was sat with my (legal) scanner listening to the second race issues. They didn't have enough cement to cover the oil and were struggling with people to put it out, they also didn't have enough boards to display the messages at the start that they wanted to show and to top...
