Re: Appendix J - Changes

Eddie, When I read the changes my mind did go back to the Lola arrangement. When I had my Lola it did cross my mind what would happen to the lower wishbone should a bolt fail etc. I will have a look at some pictures later and see if I can come up with a solution. Does this reg apply to all cars? New...

Re: Rolling start? Silverstone

Not that it would ever affect me as I wouldn’t be at the front but, girding up 50 something cars is quite an achievement. Cars at the front could be marginal on cooling and this in its self could be a problem. Or imagine if the leader stalls on the grid. The car in 50th place would be traveling at q...

Re: If you could own any F1 car, what would it be?

Yes, what Peter said too. When can we expect delivery Lee? If only it was that simple. Then why would we stop at cars?.......Hope my wife doesn't read this :? Some great choices made but mine must have a DFV. I'd want a car that would finish. I ruled out a Lotus 49B, As nice as they are I am quite ...

If you could own any F1 car, what would it be?

If you had a choice of any F1 car to own and compete in (with the exception of post 2006 say) what would it be?

In Euroboss?
Masters Gp?

Its harder than you think to pick one.
Mine i think would be a Brabham BT42 or 44 or 52....just cant make up my mind.

What would you choose?

F1 designs so 2002 mono

The new renault exhaust is so 2002 mono. We did this to our Reynard back in 2002! We had the same theory as they have. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/89223 It ran for 2 seasons like this until it was banned by a welsh scroat at Silverstone. Our system exited out near the front of the si...

Re: Silverstone GP/Britcar Races

Good to hear we agree on this important safety issue Simon. I put a link to where you can buy LED rear lights for £20 but it seems to have been deleted. When I did 24 hour races I would coat my rain light wiring in Vaseline, it seemed to work well for keeping moisture out. As this is a product well...

Hi Dave,
I see you are in the north east. Why not pop along to Croft at the weekend and have a chat with some mono people who will give you some advice.
