Non-competitive member.....I thought that was an exclusive club of one, not Basildon, not James but yes Derek Bond.

Excellent value for money shock made by the man who once owned AVO, infact they are a copy. We have used them in the past as has Andy Wooley.New set will be about £400 made to your specification.

Re: Who can use out of date seat belts?
Talking of 'dating ripoffs' some years ago we were thrown out of a British Sprint Championship round for not having an 'in date' fuel cell.
Being naïve we accepted it.
Can anyone point me to where that regulation is in the current Blue Book for MSA events?

Re: Who can use out of date seat belts?
I like most was in the belief that MSA rules state that you have to have 'in date' belts. This thread propmpted me to check as I thought it did not apply in Sprinting and Hillclimbing and would recommend that Samier put an add on Uphill racers. On checking the 2009 Blue Book I cannot find that it is...

Re: Rain Lights
Does any one have a copy of the as published (or as will be published) 2009 MSA Blue Book text addressing rain lights? I'm not interested in what people think might be published, I would like to see the actual text. Thank you. Mark Got my Blue Book today. Rain light text has not changed from 2008.C...

The CF3 stuff is just grapevine stuff - not actually sure about who told me! But the rest of the annoyance is purely down to self interest I admit. I'm not going to be winning races next year as we acclimatise to the car, but we do face the prospect of extra cash outlay when the regs change. Maybe ...

Thanks Tristan! There is such a difference in price, stack sensors going for around 70 pounds, others cheaper at 20 odd.. does it make any difference in reading and accuracy? http://www.gprdirect.com/OnlineShop/Product.do?c=214&g=661 http://www.gprdirect.com/OnlineShop/Product.do?c=214&g=1539&p=414...

If I was to buy a Formula Vauxhall Lotus or a pre 2000 Dallara F3, that would come with fuel injection setup from when they were racing in the national series. To remove that setup and fit carbs would cost extra no? I would imagine the engine would need a remap, as F3 uses higher octane fuel. Why a...

The point you made was why put carbs on when it is an additional expense which must mean over and above what comes with the engine from the donor road car i.e. as per the manufacturer's (VX/Opel) standard. If you want to put aftermarket injection on then that in itself is an extra expense and one wh...

Re: USE OF LIGHTS/ FLAGS AT RACE CIRCUITS
Long overdue at circuits on all marshalls posts must be the system of red amber and green lights. [flags still used to cover stationary/crashed vehicles]. Incidently Brooklands race circuit is 100 years old. And my understanding is flags where [at race circuits] introduced here....101..years ago' N...
