Re: Donington Testing
Mixed testing?... I hope not, that has just reminded me what happened to Ben when they did that last year.

Re: Brands GP
Thanks to both of your for the kind comments.. glad we could help. I thought I might have upset Malcolm as I had to be a bit 'forthright' about his road car being where we needed to bring a truck in during the morning and suggested he park it in the garage, but it all worked out for the best. Steven...

Re: Engine Regulations
Without commenting on the underlying thoughts being expressed & discussed here. There have been alleged past issues reported in this thread. I will just supply some links for people to review the established facts. The Formula Renaults in question were discussed in detail in 2011 http://startline.or...

As F3Cup are at the same meeting (but not the same races) as Mono at Brands Indy, Pirelli may be present.

Re: Quick Release Steering Hub
My quick research suggests your might have been the SPA Design one (that has the 13 splines) after taking one off in the garage.. my spare turns out to be a racetech one and that is 15 splines (so not much good as a spare afterall!... unless the other car has the 15 spline one as well).

Re: FHR SCRUTINEERING
We had one competitor who had a problem with his helmet. It was the wrong combination of being a new (ish) helmet but having been fitted with the early (2002 reg) posts. This was rejected at scrutineering on Sunday. The advice was either to get new (2010) reg posts from the on-site shop or a new hel...

Re: CARTEK Flashing Rain Lights
I comment only on the official position. Jim asks... if a car turned up with an MSA/FIA approved light could it be stopped from starting? The MSA set a minimum standard for the rain light (21W incandecent), Monoposto regulations can not specify a lower standard (this would not get through the MSA ap...

Re: CARTEK Flashing Rain Lights
I have a Cartek non flashing light wired through the Cartek supplied switch which allows me to select to run it as a flashing light. This did not require any modifications to the car or wiring - Light went on the end of the existing single live wire (and earth wire to chassis) and switch just went i...
