Re: Donington Experience and the BRSCC

I thought it was a great weekend. Mind you, I spent it stripping my engine drinking beer and watching the grand prix.

Re: Mallory Park bar!

Indeed the pub website says that it is shut. I don't want to get any hopes up, but decorators have been seen inside since. (presumably getting plastered, like we do) so keep your drinking fingers crossed.

Re: Formula Vee to run in Mono 1600

Lee. Trust me, (and Samier) (and ask hursty). For whatever reason, the Formula V driving I have witnessed has been pretty poor. If you don't "give a toss" about the car because it's easily repairable or strong enough to take the knocks, then you would race differently. A bit like if you had plenty o...

Re: Formula Vee to run in Mono 1600

The only problem I have encountered with formula Vee has been the drivers. On numerous occassions, testing sessions have been stopped because of comedy V drivers crashing into each other whilst racing. Their races seemed to be rather more accident packed as well. One can only assume that with their ...

Re: GRID SIZES

To make a serious point: The problem with mixing any two or more classes is one of differing ability and performance. As a 1600 driver I have experienced many times the frustration of having to battle with a more powerful/faster car being driven by a slower/newer driver. When you are wringing every ...

Re: GRID SIZES

I would love to see the bike engined cars race with the 2 litres .. or at least in a different class to the 1600's ... or better still a different circuit.
and I'm not even racing anymore.
