Re: Silverstone schedule

Not ideal but not a lot the club can do as we will always play second fiddle to GT Cup, LMP3 and F3 Cup under MSVR. We would always only have 1 activity on one of the days with having 3 sessions over the weekend. The perfect scenario would have been to have a qualifying and race on Saturday and then...

Brands GP Testing

Afternoon All,

Just thought I would let anyone testing next week that the circuit has been hired out on the Thursday for an event so there is no access at all till Friday morning.

Thought I would pass it on.

All the best

Re: Cadwell Entry Fee

Good point Robbie. I guess knowing that Cadwell is cheap to hire (compared to the ones quoted) made the Cadwell price stand out more than the others but like you say the club will need to make a good profit on Cadwell to make it more cost effective for some of the more prestige rounds that everyone ...

Re: Cadwell Entry Fee

Dan,

you can't really compare Cadwell with Oulton.

Re: Engine Regulations

You have more chance of getting a reply from The prime minister than the board. They have had plenty of time to explain the reasons

Re: Donington Testing

The sessions are mixed. The 2 sessions are purely based on when you paid for testing. The first session that started at 9am was full and when I booked there was only 5 spaces in the last session. So there will be all types of cars in each session. During the day each group has 4 sessions of 50 minut...

Donington Testing

I have booked testing before Donington but don't need all the allocated time of 4 sessions of 50 minutes each. Anyone interested in buying 2 sessions from me to reduce costs. Please PM me

Re: Engine Regulations

It now seems a number of posts from pro Renault people have now been deleted from the forum.

Can we arrange an informal discussion about 2017 on Friday night at Brands?

Re: Engine Regulations

I am Chris Hodgen Mono F3 - will work out how to change my profile name in the morning - seems 95 percent of people don't use their name? Thanks for the reply, but it still doesn't answer the question as to why the board thinks it is a good idea to ban Formula Renault cars? It surely can't be a diff...

Re: Entry fee inflation

Jon I will bring your G&T glass to Brands to be filled up lol From a cost point of view I think the club is quite similar to other clubs in terms of cost maybe a little more expensive. In general I think the price per track time is creeping up to a point where more people are going to think twice ab...

Re: Engine Regulations

Makes a lot of sense Peter.

Still no word from the club as to why they dont want them in. It would be nice for a member of the board to explain the reasons? Or if they can't stand up to the drivers wanting to race then let them in and build the class...

Re: Engine Regulations

I have sent an email to the committee but yet to get a reply. I have also questioned the reasons behind dropping Formula Renault cars from the championship. No sensible reason to do it and I can only assume some people don't like getting beaten by a cheaper car. One simple answer is drive faster. No...
