Wiring an Alarm light into a Pi dash

I know it is possible to wire additional lights etc into the AUX port on the PI dash loom. Has anyone done this for the ALARM light and if so can you do me a loom or provide assistance. I know the pins to attach to on the AUX plug but dont have the light.

Thanks
Peter

Re: Mono 1000

My Reynard is usually 24 kgs overweight. At 86 kgs I don't consider that I am overweight, but could loose the odd kilo or two granted. That makes the car weigh around 500 kgs give or take, so you need to be a very thin chap to make it at 560 kgs. Just saying!

Seat belts wanted

Despite ordering my new seat belts in December it appears that I have been let down by my supplier. Therefore I am looking to beg, borrow or 'steal' a set for my Reynard in order to do the first round at Donington. They may even turn up but based on my experience so far, I am not hopeful and do real...

Re: Garages

Fact of life with Mono these days. Small fish in a big pond and we usually get the sh*tty end of the stick with MSVR.

Any idea when we are likely to get some idea of the calendar for 2018?

Hi Miles, you could ask the same question of the Classic class!

TRS Single Seat Harness

Does anyone have any contacts with anyone from TRS as I need a new harness for my Reynard and they need a special type with different fittings to the general single seat harness.

Many thanks

Placement of Go Pro Cameras

Is there a restriction on where you can mount your Go Pro (other cameras are available) camera?. I.e. does it have to be behind you or can you mount it, for instance along side your mirror.

Thanks in anticipation.

Footage of Sunday's race

My wife didn't turn my GoPro on correctly so I didn't get any footage of race 1 on Sunday. Does anyone have any footage they could share of us mortals in the middle of the pack please. Also anything of the first lap of race 2 where I nearly 'T' boned my mate in his Spead.

Many thanks

Silverstone schedule

Is anyone else perplexed/concerned about the lack of a Saturday race and two races being held on Sunday. Seems a little daft to me and a complete waste of a Saturday with the possibility of a dns in race two owing to an issue in race one not being fixed in time. I am sure in the past we have always ...

Re: Cadwell Entry Fee

Interesting statistics from Cadwell.

MSVT Trackday Trophy: 30 min qualifying, 45 minute race, total time 75 minutes, cost £329, £4.38 per minute.
Monoposto: 2 x 15 qualifying, 2 x 15 minute race, total time 60 minutes, cost £435, £7.25 per minute.

Draw your own conclusions!

Re: Cadwell Entry Fee

Yes you are right about that Dan. 15 minutes more for £85! We must be careful that in order to recoup losses from one year that we do not price ourselves out of the market for the following year. The entry fee is the most obvious cost to the club racer as we all tend to just 'eat' the other expenses...
