New MSVR safety notice & Cadwell Safety

Hi everyone I have noticed on the MSVR Cadwell page that there is a 2017 Safety Notice that not everyone may have noticed. There appears to be a "ban" on the use of bicycles/push bikes for anyone of any age and also a number of other new safety "don't" items that MSVR are stipulating. I suspect some...

MSA drug and alcohol testing

For those of you not at the AGM, you might like to know that I recently had a conversation with the MSA official who leads on drug and alcohol testing at race meetings. The MSA will be increasing the amount of testing that they do this coming season.

Former Monoposto racer from the 1970's has just been along to the Croft paddock to see if anyone he knew was around. He sends his regards to anyone who remembers him.

Silverstone non-champ race Club Hub

Given Autumn has clearly arrived, hot drinks will no doubt be required to treat the hypothermia! The electric urn will be set up in Garage 11c (thank you F3 Cup team Omicron) so do feel free to park up near to that garage in our allocated area and pay the urn a visit. Mono are even the right side of...

Re: Electric hook up for Silverstone

Given we're in the bit of paddock marked "arse end of nowhere" you're probably all getting a little overexcited :) Seriously though, if some people were to sort out the adaptor for the red sockets and are prepared to give people a socket from the supply feed in their trailer/motorhome/extension lead...

Re: HANS devices (aka FHRs) to become mandatory next year

Speaking as someone who cares about people out on the circuit, wear and use as much protective kit as you can - your wives, partners, parents and children will be more comfortable with you racing. You can't put a price on protecting your life or health. And working in the field, the cost of caring f...

Re: Club Hub - Brands Hatch 13th & 14th Setember

A volunteer has come forward with an idea for entertainment on Saturday evening. Kevin Couling will be bringing his Twister mat along. I have no idea if Twister works on a team level so this may be more of an individual tournament, but come along with your drinks and nibbles (and pain killers for do...

Club Hub - Brands Hatch 13th & 14th Setember

Hi everyone, Normal service at the Club Hub on Saturday with the urn being lit by 7.30 am. Unfortunately, due to a long standing commitment, I need to be back in Norwich on Sunday so will be leaving you to fend for yourselves on Sunday. However, Andrew will have access to all the usual supplies so j...

Club Hub - Silverstone - 16th & 17th August

Hello all, Normal Club Hub service will be provided this weekend. I'll aim to have the urn lit by 7.30 am on Saturday and 8 am on Sunday. Given the amount of downtime there is over the weekend, it might be nice to have an informal social of sorts. Unfortunately, due to my dad being in hospital and w...

Club Hub - Oulton Park and Mallory

News of the Club Hub for this weekend. The Club Hub and equipment will be there. I will not. I have ensured there is plenty in the way of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits and the gas bottle has been replenished. I'm sure it would be appreciated by someone (possibly the next person along to find the ur...
