Re: Castle Combe 15.09.2018

Cunning plan... I asked the organising club. They are the ones who gave me the draft timetable as well.

Re: Castle Combe 15.09.2018

Castle Combe report only two entries (see below) for this 15th October Open race so far .... with the risk the race will be cancelled. ANY MORE SINGLE SEATERS to do this one? (I can't, very important family event that day)... Ohh and my usual 'OPEN' event at Brands on 10th November looks to be on, j...

Re: Fire extinguishers

Thank you Rachel, Leaving out semantics, what my research suggests is the following: It appears the intention of the MSA was to mandate that, for the first time in MSA regs, from 01-01-2018 it would be compulsory that all extinguishers must have been serviced within the last 2 years where as in the ...

Fire extinguishers

Thanks for alerting us to the MSA 'error' regarding dates. http://www.monoposto.co.uk/2018/02/fire-extinguisher-regulations/ Can you seek some clarity from the MSA as their rule is very difficult to follow and I am not sure I agree with your interpretation: "Fire Extinguishers Existing vehicles comp...

Thanks

Any news which ones are the 3 race weekends (2 of them I assume to make it 14 rounds)?

And entry fees?

Cheers.

Re: Live snatching of stranded race cars

I was unaware of even seeing a safety car vehicle throughout the weekend! Reading the final instructions for the 750MC Donington meeting on the 30th Sept / 1st Oct these state that a Safety Car option was not applicable to that meeting hence I believe that option was not available to the 750MC cler...

Re: Live snatching of stranded race cars

UK motorsport has been a bit inconsistent this year with Code 60, safety cars and live snatch.. tricky decisions for Clerk of Courses and different approaches by different clubs.

Re: New MSVR safety notice & Cadwell Safety

That vehicle safety condition has been in the SRs for some time (see extract below). Having just had a meeting at Brands (BRSCC but of course but still a circuit owned/operated by MSV), nothing seemed different, no issues regarding bikes (even my pink battery one). I think this is the general point ...

Re: Medicals. Licence time

Thanks for the reminder Steven.... something I have banged on about in the past.

I did manage to get 2 years licences out of my Feb 2015 medical and you have reminded me to plan my next one for Jan or Feb 2017 to cover both 2017 and 2018 (thinking 2018 already!)

Re: Engine Regulations

Interesting point Ian, On the open public website for Monoposto at http://www.monoposto.co.uk/about-mrc/contact/ it says: "Processing of membership and race entries will be handled by Rachel Lovett at the Midland Automobile Club, whilst race day co-ordination and everything else is handled by a team...

Re: Donington Testing

Very quiet today at Donington .. 15 cars in total

Open pitlane and mixed cars .

Now raining.

So if it will be 2 x groups, why aren't they Open and Closed wheel sessions?
